Secretariat’s New Staff: Shirley Xie Yuanli

WE are happy to have onboard a new intern. The twenty two-year-old student Xie Yuanli (Shirley), is staying at the UCLG ASPAC Secretariat from March until June. She was born in Guangzhou, China and currently she is pursuing her final year study in International Business as a full time student in Universiti Sains Malaysia.

Her desire to work in UCLG ASPAC has grown from her three years staying in Malaysia, which aroused her interest in the topic of promoting equality and fighting racism in the society. She believes business and social initiative can coexist in equilibrium.
