Local Government Self Assessment Tool Online Now

UCLG ASPAC is now in cooperation with the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) to promote a global Campaign “Making Cities Resilient” in Asia Pacific. One of the activities in promoting the campaign is dissemination of the Local Government Self Assessment Tool (LGSAT) to particular countries.

For this purpose, UCLG ASPAC has translated the document into Chinese and Nepali language to be further disseminated to members in both countries.

The First Green Technology and Innovation Expo in Surabaya

Our member, Guangzhou, that presented their international award for urban innovation; our partner, Green Purchasing Network Malaysia, that brought their energy-saving lamp company, Nitto Optotronics; our other partner, IHI Enviro Corporation, that participated in showcasing their latest green technology (more info about this company can be looked at the bottom part of this e-newsletter) were among the tenants.
