THE new arrival at the Secretariat is Aaman Sulchan. He is the Programme Consultant, principally taking care of the preparation for the ASEAN Mayors Forum, ASEAN Cities Expo 2015 and ASEAN Community Week 2015.
He got his undergraduate degree on Human Geography and Urban Planning and his Masters on Urban Planning, both at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands.
One of his previous experiences has been at GIZ, involved in a baseline study of economy activities in three districts in Kalimantan.
His expectation at UCLG ASPAC is that mayors and their local governments can really benefit from the presence of UCLG ASPAC in facing their daily challenges.
