Scheduled for July 2 – 6, 2025, this event combines two of Korea’s favourite indulgences: “chicken” and “maekju” (beer), forming the now-famous term “Chimac.”
Held in the scenic Duryu Park, the Chimac Festival offers more than just food and drink. It is a cultural experience that highlights Korea’s dynamic nightlife, music, and hospitality. Over one million visitors attended in previous years, making it one of Asia’s largest and most festive culinary gatherings.
Festivalgoers can enjoy a wide array of crispy Korean fried chicken, craft and global beers, live performances by K-pop stars and local artists, outdoor activities, and interactive booths. The event also serves as a platform for international exchange, with special zones dedicated to foreign guests and cultural promotions.
