GEARING up for theFirst Session of 2016 UCLG ASPACExecutive Bureau Meeting to be held on 5 May in New Delhi, India, the Secretariat has been mobilizing members, partners and speakers to participate.
The ExBu meeting will be held in conjunction with the ThirdSouth Asian Cities Summit “Smart Cities – Aspirations and Challenges” that will take place on 6-7May 2016. The Summit will convene a high profile gathering of national, international, state and local government officials, utilities, policy makers, financiers, technologists, non-profit organizations, business leaders, academicians, researchers and community organizations – all with a common goal of working together to develop and build a better future for cities and their citizens. Delegates will have the chance to get immersed in various key themes, such as Building Infrastructure; Urban Mobility; Water Supply; Waste Management; Open Spaces and Recreation; ICT for Smart Cities; and Renewable Energy – Solar.
For information, UCLG ASPAC members are exempted from registration fee for participation in the Summit. Other interested individuals are invited to register at http://sacsummit.in/registration/
