Hamamatsu City’s Mayor Yasutomo Suzuki, visited the City Hall of Jakarta on 18 December 2014. On the occasion, he also came to the UCLG ASPAC’s Secretariat.
The purpose of the visit, was to discuss with the Jakarta Capital City Government about the possibility of exchange between Jakarta and Hamamatsu through UCLG ASPAC. The Meeting included also possibilities of economic exchange between Indonesia and Japan, focused on the Jakarta and Hamamatsu regions. Mayor Suzuki also visited Bandung and met Mayor Ridwan Kamil and signed the Letter of Intent to Cooperate. Both mayors met for the first time during the UCLG ASPAC Executive Bureau Meeting held in Hamamatsu last June.
