UCLG ASPAC Brings the Beijing Drainage Management Center to Jakarta

ZHANG Jinyou is the engineer and administration manager of the Beijing Drainage Management Center. He spoke on behalf of the Chinese delegation from Beijing to IndoWater Expo 2015 in Jakarta Convention Center on 27-29 May 2015.

He expressed gratitude to UCLG ASPAC for the opportunity to participate in the IndoWater Expo 2015 in Central Jakarta. “It was really a reward for us as through this participation and we hope Beijing Water Management Enterprises would  have greater influence in international water management market in the future,” he said.

To actively participate in this expo, the water authority of Beijing has introduced its expertise in sewage treatment and the formation of CAWI (The capital Alliance of Water Industry) in the Smart City Forum. Besides, Beijing Water Investment Centre, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, Beijing Origin Water Technology Co., Ltd., China National General Machinery Engineering Corporation also set up its own booth to communicate with more than 300 organizations and 930 professionals.

Most importantly, he added, those enterprises have established closed partnership with 190 organizations (including government agency, industrial sector, consultant agency, engineer company and investment company), as well as identified 7 initial collaborate project and 10 further follow up project through various dialogue. “It’s, thereby, we achieved prominent result in the expo, in which provided a foundation for us to expand international market in the future,” he concluded.

Speaking on the role of UCLG ASPAC, he affirmed that the organization has provided  a platform for us to search for opportunity in global. “UCLG ASPAC helped us to facilitate resource-sharing and derivative of new industrial chain with different participants and interested parties. With a mission to bring the advanced China’s water management technique closer to the community in Indonesia, this event will advance the bilabial cooperation between China’s water enterprise and Indonesia municipality in the future,” Zhang said.
