The farmers of Bangladesh have suffered financial losses due to the corona epidemic. In the post pandemic, they have started to profit by focusing on farming. Bangladesh is one of the top countries in jute production. Guthail is the largest jute market in Bangladesh. Where the farmers of some districts carry their jute in boats to sell here. Jute is sold here two days a week. About US $200,000 worth of jute is traded here per market.
