A true crowd favorite, the Powerful Daegu Festival stood as one of Korea’s largest citizen-participation parades, attracting over 630,000 visitors in just two days last year! The city’s main street became a dazzling runway of dynamic performances, including marching bands, mimes, circus acts, street shows, and even K-Dance Fighter competitions. As night falls, the magic continued with moonlit concerts and the spectacular Night Parade, illuminated by LED lights, turning Daegu’s Spring evenings into an unforgettable celebration of light and rhythm.
The excitement in May 2025 will not stop there—food trucks will line the streets, offering a wide variety of treats and allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the festival for hours. The festivities will kick off with a spectacular opening ceremony on the evening of May 9, giving everyone a sneak peek at what’s to come and setting the tone for an unforgettable weekend in Daegu. The festival will officially take place from Saturday (May 10, 2025) to Sunday (May 11, 2025) in the heart of Daegu’s downtown area.
