The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Seoul Metropolitan Government and CityNet are pleased to invite your city or organization to express interest in attending the International Forum on Urban Policy for the Sustainable Development Goals, to be held on . 8-10 June 2016 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
The three-day forum, which will be hosted in Seoul, Republic of Korea, during 8-10 June 2016, is the first of what we hope will become a regular forum. The objectives of the forum are to:
- Discuss and support the role of cities in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Asia-Pacific;
- Share urban policy, planning and practice to facilitate the implementation of the SDGs;
- Explore opportunities for regional and international cooperation to support the implementation of the SDGs;
- Present and support the development of the ‘Urban Sustainable Development Knowledge Platform’.

The forum is free to attend. Sponsorship to cover accommodation and meal costs is available for a number of participants– airfares, however, will need to be borne by participants.
Interested cities and organizations are invited to kindly complete the Google Form available at this link, by Tuesday 10 May 2016. Selected cities and organizations will be sent invitations.
