Nansha is promoting innovation-driven industrial development. It has built Nansha Science City, Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Guangzhou) and other major scientific platforms. As one of the few areas in China that enjoys both QDLP and QFLP pilot policies, Nansha is home to the Guangzhou Futures Exchange, Guangzhou Data Exchange, and Guangzhou Shipping Exchange and has become one of the first places in China to pilot climate investment and financing. Three FOFs with a total scale of more than 54 billion USD for industrial investment, venture capital, and infrastructure development were founded in Nansha. In terms of the policy environment, China has extended its visa-free policy to Indonesia. The visa-free policy for Indonesian tourist groups arriving by cruise ships and the 144-hour visa-free transit policy for foreigners are implemented. Nansha collects enterprise income tax at a reduced rate of 15% for enterprises in encouraged industries in launching areas, covering 8 industrial categories including high-tech key industry and information technology and 140 specific industries of catalogue.
Cooperation and exchange platforms were built at a high level. In terms of international conferences, Nansha holds international conferences such as the International Finance Forum, World Media Summit and Greater Bay Area Science Forum. In terms of industrial carriers, we have established the “Going Global” Comprehensive Service Center for Chinese Enterprises.
