Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and UNITAR Jeju International Training Center are launching a call for proposals for the 2023 Global Youth Creative Residency (GYCR), an international exchange art project where young cultural and arts professionals from various fields around the world gather in Jeju to discuss art and sustainability, and showcase their creative abilities.
Activities:
2023 Global Young Creatives Residency will be conducted in the form of an Art Week, aiming to facilitate substantial connections and expand networks through the invitation of internationally renowned experts and the selection of promising participating artists. – For one week, participants engage in programs such as lectures, talks, workshops, tours, and networking sessions centered around three main themes:
- Roots – environmental and traditional origins of Jeju,
- Pillars – sustainability of various art fields through art, and
- Branches and Leaves – international exchange and infinite expansion.
They share experiences and inspiration with each other. – As such, a performance review report based on active participation and
insights exchanged during the one-week period is requested to be
submitted.

- Residency location: The whole area of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Republic of Korea
