Dhulikhel Municipality

Dhulikhel is a municipality in Nepal’s Kavrepalanchol District, 30 kilometres east of Kathmandu. IT is notable for its green, hilly natural setting, as well as cultural and historical elements.

The beauty of the Himalayas can be seen. With a population of 33,981 in 2017, Dhulikhel is served by two major highways that connect Kathmandu to Tibet’s border town of Kodari.

In terms of sustainable development, the municipality establishes a solid foundation for the principles of equality, equity, and non-discrimination, thereby promoting a social justice, inclusion, and rights-based approach that includes 33 percent female representation in legislatures.
