North Chungcheong Province (Korean: Chungcheongbuk-do), also known as Chungbuk, is a province of South Korea.

North Chungcheong has a population of 1,578,934 (2014) and has a geographic area of 7,433 km2 located in the Hoseo region in the south-centerĀ  of the Korean Peninsula.

The province has agricultural products that include rice, barley, beans, and potatoes.

It has mineral reserves of gold, iron, coal, steatite, fluorite, and molybdenum, as well as marble and limestone in the northern part of the province. Silk weaving plays an important role in supporting the province’s economy.
