Changsha Municipal People’s Government

Changsha City is the provincial capital of Hunan Province. It is the political, economic, cultural, transportation, science and technology, finance and information center of Hunan Province.

Changsha is located in the north of the eastern part of Hunan Province, on the lower reaches of the Xiang River, a branch of the Yangtze River.

Changsha now governs the six districts of Furong, Tianxin, Yuelu, Kaifu, Yuhua and Wangcheng and the two counties of Changsha and Ningxiang as well as the city of Liuyang.
