Baguio City

Located in west central Luzon, Philippines is known to serve as the country’s summer capital as it is pleasantly nestled between pine tree-clad hills, and experiences daily crisp, cold breezes. Today, Baguio city is turning into one of Philippines’ highly urbanised cities that maintains its green development and cleanliness.  

For example, solid waste management is one of the city’s top priorities, and most of the city’s top priorities, and is currently implementing some of its most inclusive disaster risk reduction initiatives among many others. These are all part of the city’s overall mission of creating a sustainable and enabling environment that will promote economic stability, and ensure the general well-being of its citizenry through effective public governance.
