ECRL Project Malaysia

The Chinese Communications Construction Company under the Belt and Road Initiative is building a 413-mile Railway project at an estimated cost of US$12.08 Billion.
The project is the second largest project and is a Chinese initiative based on Malaysia’s proposal to connect several states such as Pahang, Terengganu, and Kelantan in eastern Malaysia with the capital Kuala Lumpur and their western ports.

The infrastructure development is called the East Coast Rail Link which aims to grow global trade. The infrastructure work has shown the progress that almost a third of the work has been completed, such as tunnel boring jobs.
