Lahan Municipality is located in Siraha District in the Province Number 2 of south-eastern Nepal. The municipality is extended into 167.17 square kilometres and politically divided into 24 wards. It is home to 91766 population residing in 17182 households. The population
has increased gradually with rapid urbanization over a period of 20 years. The municipality has evolved as trade and industrial center from its agrarian economy.
The MuNASS project in Lahan municipality is looking for project manager to handle all the responsibilities related to conducting the project.
Job responsibilities
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
- Liaise with District and municipal level government line agencies and stakeholders and Water Aid Nepal to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives .
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or higher degree in sanitation related subject suitable for this position.
- Has overall more than 7 years working experience and at least 3 years in field of sanitation and WASH.
- Proven work experience as a Project manager or similar role.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Fluent writing and speaking in English and Nepali
