On behalf of the President, Mr. Won Hee-Ryong, and the Executive Bureau, UCLG ASPAC Secretary General, Dr. Bernadia I. Tjandradewi, presented the medals of Honor and Merit to Dr. Fauzi Bowo, former Governor of Jakarta, for his great services as the President of UCLG ASPAC for the period of 2010-2012, the Host of UCLG ASPAC Congress 2012, and the Honorary Member of UCLG ASPAC conferred in 2012.
Dr. Fauzi Bowo is currently the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia for Germany. The medals presentation took place at the Indonesian Embassy in Berlin on 19th November which was witnessed by all staff of the Embassy.
The Secretary General was in Berlin for a conference on “Municipal Partnerships with Asia” held from 17-18 November 2014 where she was invited as a keynote speaker.
